How to prepare your business for the upcoming changes in AI regulation? With this event, we will delve into the discussion on the ongoing trilogue negotiations surrounding the AI Act and assess the current status and potential impact of the AI Act on SMEs in EU. The AI Act aims to establish regulations ensuring the safety and ethics of AI applications. While this initiative seeks to position European businesses at the forefront of ethical and secure AI solutions, concerns about stringent regulations on SME innovation have been raised. The fifth round of trilogue negotiations has encountered three critical stumbling blocks, including exemptions for law enforcement, obligations on foundation models such as ChatGPT and governance and enforcement issues.

For this webinar, we will bring together policymakers, SMEs and other stakeholders to initiate a broader discussion on the subject and explore potential pathways for resolution.
